LIXIL Announces Plans To Open California Distribution Center
PISCATAWAY, N.J. (June 24, 2020) ― LIXIL, home to iconic kitchen and bath brands American Standard, GROHE and DXV, has announced plans to open a new distribution center in California later this year. The new facility expands the company’s footprint within the United States and will enable LIXIL to better serve its customers in the western parts of the country and Canada.
LIXIL plans to break ground on the Perris, Calif. facility later this month with business starting in December.
“Meeting the needs of customers and consumers is our top priority, and this new distribution center will allow us to dramatically shorten shipping lead times to deliver our products faster than ever before,” said Steve Delarge, CEO LIXIL Americas “At a time when other businesses may be considering scaling back their operations in a difficult economic environment, we are proud to be expanding, creating employment opportunities and simplifying the distribution process for our customers.”
LIXIL will integrate the new facility into its existing distribution network as part of a broader strategy to meet the needs of its customers more efficiently. As the shift to digital shopping accelerates and people continue to seek out LIXIL products, opening this center allows LIXIL to meet their needs by making product more readily available wherever people choose to shop.
