Yves Dalcourt Named General Manager of American Standard Canada

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (January 22, 2014) ― American Standard Brands announced that Yves Dalcourt has been named general manager of the company's Canadian division based in Mississauga, Ontario.

In this role, Dalcourt is tasked with providing leadership and strategic direction to all aspects of Canadian business operations for this leading North American plumbing products manufacturer. In addition to spearheading growth efforts within the wholesale and retail channels, Dalcourt will work closely with the U.S. product development teams to create pioneering innovations for the Canadian market.

Most recently, Dalcourt served as vice president of the market-leading home appliance division of LG Canada. Prior to that, he spent six years at Miele Ltd. as vice president, transforming the business through improved category management systems, resulting in record sales and profits in 2011 and 2012. Dalcourt also held positions of increasing responsibility within Mars Canada, culminating his stint as director of sales over the multi-million dollar chocolate division. Earlier in his career, Dalcourt worked in sales and account management positions at Fairchild Marketing, Black and Decker, and Proctor and Gamble.

Dalcourt, who is bilingual in French and English, received a degree in marketing from Cambrian College in Ontario, Canada.
