New Eljer Toilets Boast Upgraded Performance and Features

PISCATAWAY, N.J.(April 3, 2012) — Your bathroom may soon have Eljer®envy. Known for its popular features and fast, no-tools installation, this leading plumbingware brand has expanded the performance, design and offerings of several of its leading models, which might lead to an inferiority complex among other toilets.
Three popular Eljer toilets will now leverage the innovative American Standard® PowerWash® bowl cleaning technology that scrubs the bowl with pressurized water from the rim during every flush to remove every last trace of paper and waste. The Diplomat™ two-piece, Stratus® high efficiency and Somerville®dual flush toilets employ this siphonic-action technology to ensure a powerful flush and superior bowl cleaning, every time. In addition, these Eljer styles also offer slow-close seats for a smoother, quieter close.
Now with more color options available, homeowners can select among three new shades for the Diplomat one-piece toilets — bone, biscuit and onyx — in addition to the original white offering.
The Eljer Belmont™ Complete toilet line has been expanded to offer an elongated version, joining the existing round front models, with comfortable Tall Height™styling. This newtall elongated bowl style features 1.28 gallon per flush (gpf) high efficiency toilet (HET) performance and is available now. All Belmont Complete models have now been independently rated to flush 1,000 grams — more than two pounds of solid waste — which is the highest possible score in the Maximum Performance (MaP) test, an independent report of toilet bulk removal performance. The upgraded round frontmodels will be available in stores starting June 2012.
All Eljer Calloway™ Complete toilets — available in round-front as well as elongated Tall Height models — have now been certified to flush 800 grams of solid waste in independent MaP testing. These upgraded models will be available in stores starting May 2012.
